PubWest is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We celebrate and support independent publishers and strive to reach and lift up underserved and underrepresented populations through networking events and virtual initiatives. We recognize all diverse experiences, including (but not limited to) LGBTQIA, Indigenous, people of color, gender diversity, people with disabilities, and ethnic, cultural, and religious minorities.

We invest our resources and funds into this commitment, from our free first year scholarship program through our paid internship and member mentorship programs initiatives.

This policy is an ever-changing document that grows as our understanding expands, and we look forward to continuing to evolve through our ongoing education, outreach, and efforts for mutual progress.
